As a creative consultant I offer up a unique approach rooted in hands-on, real world creative execution, working both alone and in teams, or leading a creative project. CREATING

I’m a big believer in collaboration on ideas and concepts to help them grow, helping come up with fresh or help nurture ideas that have potential to become reality. From ideation all the way through to production and delivery… I get parachuted into briefs at the start, middle or end, so if you’ve got a brief that needs some fresh innovative thinking or knowhow, get in touch!

CONSULTING

I help teams to think outside the box, to push the boundaries of what’s technically possible and to seamlessly integrate technology and techniques into activations to help pull a thread through physical and digital experiences. Whether it’s finding the right technology or the right technique, I help make ideas become possible.

CONNECTING

Utilise my skills to help ideas get made. I bring with me first hand experience from running a market leading agency, and an address book of crafters, grafters, specialists, freelancers, and individuals to help bring the right idea to life. Whether it’s video, motion graphics, events, 3D, experiences, fabrication or technical direction I can help make it happen.

BEHIND THE BILLBOARD - A PODCAST SERIES

This podcast has been a bit of a side hustle and passion project with my good pal Hugh Todd since 2019. Our belief is that billboards have incredible power. Of all the media platforms, they have the ability to cut through culture and change a brand’s fortunes in seconds. So what is the secret to using the most powerful tool in the media landscape? What makes a world-class billboard’? What wins awards? What gets on the news? What trends on social? What does it take to bring incredible OOH campaigns come to life? What are the stories behind these brilliant billboards? The ‘do’s’. the ‘don’ts’, the ‘oh-so-nearlys’ and the ‘WTFs’. Who are the people, who are the brands and what are their stories. Our series aims to find out by interviewing some of the greatest and most creative advertising minds in the business.

Each episode hangs from a core awesome billboard campaign. But we’re not gonna spend 45 mins each episode talking about the kerning of the typography or the white balance of the photography. We hear from the creatives, the photographers, the account guys, the clients, strategists and media owners. It’s about what went wrong as much as what went right. We want know more about the people. How they got to work on the account, at the agency or the brief. Where they see the world moving creatively, what inspires or motivates them to be more awesome… and if you’re really lucky you’ll hear us enjoying some of Hughs famous flapjacks.
